Why I Started ADS

My name is Kurt Rodgers

I started Absolute Digital Solutions because I’ve lived every side of a construction project—from working with a shovel, to running equipment, to leading crews, managing projects, and directing survey operations. Through that experience, I saw firsthand that many of the biggest problems on a job don’t come from the work itself—they come from bad or incomplete information.

I built ADS to change that.

I wanted to create a solution that gives contractors, engineers, and developers the kind of accurate, reliable data that actually helps them make confident decisions. Not guesses. Not assumptions. Real information that reduces risk, improves efficiency, and protects the bottom line.

At the same time, I saw an opportunity to step into something new. Drone-based LiDAR and advanced 3D modeling represent a shift in how projects are understood and executed, and I’m excited to be a pioneer in this evolving form of technology. This isn’t just about flying drones—it’s about bringing better intelligence to the jobsite.

What drives me is the passion to provide data that makes a difference. To help a company or organization look at a situation—no matter how challenging—and realize there is always a solution, even when it feels like every option is a loss.

Kurt Rodgers is the founder of Absolute Digital Solutions, bringing over 20 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry. His career began in the field, working from the ground up—handling labor, operating heavy equipment, leading crews, managing projects, and directing survey operations. This full-spectrum experience gives him a unique, real-world understanding of how projects are built and where they succeed or fail.

Recognizing that many costly issues in construction stem from inaccurate or incomplete data, Kurt founded Absolute Digital Solutions to provide a better solution. By combining his field expertise with advanced drone-based LiDAR technology and 3D modeling, he helps construction and engineering professionals make more informed, confident decisions.

Kurt is passionate about delivering accurate, actionable data that reduces risk, improves efficiency, and drives project success. He is also excited to be part of a new wave of technology, positioning himself as a pioneer in the evolving use of LiDAR and aerial data in construction.
